I tried this restaurant for my birthday on 7/19 with my best friend for the first time. I’d like to say I’ve been in the restaurant industry for 23 years as a chef so this said with a heavy heart. When we arrived we were seated right away it was cute inside very nice. We were greeted by the server, although he was nice he was not so attentive. For the appetizer we ordered the arancini was not impressed had no flavor and tasted like just flour, we also ordered the special flat bread that was a bolognese flat bread to our disliking it tasted like frozen pizza rolls. For our entrees I ordered the special ribeye med rare to which the server asked me 3 times what was the temp I requested my steak to be since he didn’t remember. My friend ordered a small beet salad with chicken. My steak came out medium which normally I’d just continue to eat it but the seasonal vegetables were frozen vegetables and not seasoned at all, the roasted potatoes turned to be very thrown together vinegar tasting potato salad the was not seasoned as well, my friend’s beet salad was dry with the dressing just siting at the bottom bit tossed at all as if they forgot so just put it at the bottom of the plate and her chicken was way over cooked. I asked the server for my check right when our entrees came out the amount of time it took to receive our food was at least an hour. The server did ask is everything was ok once I asked for the check. At this point I was just not pleased with the experience and wanted to leave. The serve did not seem to want to deal with unsatisfied guest and once brought the check just disappeared. Since then I have emailed the restaurant and have not heard back from them. Definitely will not be eating near again. For the price the food is not worth it.
We went to this restaurant in hopes of getting a great meal in Maine. This was nothing more than a microwaved meal, and it looked like a five year old could make it which is absurd because the prices are outrageous. Only positive is the French fries.
Food was mediocre but service was strange and server was odd
The outdoor server/bartender was so friendly and fun to talk to! The outdoor space was cute and the music rotation was fun but not too loud. We had tasty seasonal cocktails (don’t remember the names but mine had strawberry and basil and my partner had the prickly pear frozen margarita), and the apps were super tasty. We got a bunch to share and left super full and happy. Not pictured are the truffle fries and Mac n cheese. All were delicious! The lemon aioli was divine ?
