Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe food was excellent. However, the wait for a table and food was quite long, and two items in our order were missing. They must be short staffed given there were plenty of tables, which led us to believe the wait wouldn't be so long. I do see why the place is so popular. I had the fried shrimp platter and was very satisfied. Wife had the chicken carbonara which was also tasty. Kid 1 was not a fan of the marinara noodles but kid 2 didn't mind and they swapped plates with chicken tenders. The place has a great feel with a wood timber great hall dining room with a live fish pond in the middle. The outdoor seating looked really fun too. I bet with love music it's even cooler. They do have a really cool pirate ship playground that kept our kids entertained. We would have had to bail on this without it. I bet my next visit, and especially one without children, will be 5 stars.
This place was excellent! Parking is ample. They have a large sandbox and play area for the young ones. A giant wooden ship, rock climbing, bridge, etc were available right next to the outdoor eating area in the back of the restaurant. Our server Kristen was nice. The food was excellent. The GT burger did not disappoint. It was massive. Cooked well, seasoned well, and paired well with the toppings. The loaded mashed sweet potatoes was really good. Hubby loved his salmon Benedict and fruits. Kids enjoyed their cheeseburger and tater tots. The coconut margarita has actual bits of coconut in it! The virgin strawberry and piña colada margaritas tasted watered down and overly sweet but still edible. We had a great time! Would definitely recommend. Bonus: There is a large playground next door with shaded sitting areas so you can let your littles run around before/after the meal. Definitely within walking distance of the restaurant.
We sat outside and the view was amazing. The fried calamari, shrimp cocktail and shrimp and grits were all delicious. The chairs were a little uncomfortable because of the round sides that drug into my sides and the service wasn't great but in all fairness right after we sat down our waitress had 3 large parties of about 10 sit down so she was super busy. I do highly recommend it.
So happy my family who live in Gulf Shores referred us to this spot! We come every year, 6 moms and their daughters and we always end up at The Hangout or LuLu’s with them where the food is not impressive. GT’s was amazing! Great location, beautiful view, playground for them, live music for us and the food…. Oh my! We all loved everything we ordered! Our wait was only about an hour for a party of 12 on a Friday night and the service was great. We will definitely be back next trip
Came Friday night around 845pm. Hostess was nice. Waitress wasn't the friendliest one but we were there to get in and get out. I order the BBQ pizza it was pretty good, defiantly shareable size. Husband got the blackened fish sandwich and said it was pretty good.
