Avaliação da contribuiçãoA very nice, restaurant with a great menu. Quite a nice variety of food selection and always delicious. Some of the meals remind me of some of the fancier meals you would get at a fine Toronto restaurant. However, you can still have your normal small town meals. The owner is friendly and grows her own fresh herbs.
My wife and I stopped in Orono for antiques and stayed a bit longer than expected. We decided to try the Fire Hall Bistro for some lunch. It's a small-town diner, and the atmosphere seemed warm and friendly. That said, it took a long time for the waitress to take our order and a lot longer for our order to arrive. It's surprising considering how small the restaurant is and how much of their business is almost certainly tourists. We were hoping the food would be worth the wait. Especially considering most of the dessert items on the menu were unavailable. Unfortunately, the food was decent, but not all that great. We'll definitely be going back to Orono, but we won't be stopping here again.
The wife and i were in Orono antique shopping...we were a little hungry and noticed the Firehall Bistro.....sure glad we stopped...food is excellent.
We recently visited Jungle Cat World and decided to go into town for dinner. We stopped at the Fire Hall Bistro and are glad we did! It's just a small place but our dinner was excellent as was the service we received. We would highly recommend this diner, not only if you're staying in the area but also if you're driving through to cottage cottage and need to stop for a bite to eat.
Very cute small town eatery - great for a quick lunch. We had the club house sandwich and it was no problem to get it on whole wheat bread instead of the white baguette. Our server was also very friendly!
