Avaliação da contribuiçãoWhen I entered this restaurant, I was surprised to see church pews as seats. (It did impress me.) I tried a chicken wrap, and it was very good. And I also enjoyed the calm aura of the place.
We had lunch at the Fire Hall Bistro today and were pleased to discover this stop on Orono's adorable main street. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, delicious food (with generous portions) and the owner was delightfully friendly. My children enjoyed checking out of the Fire Hall paraphernalia. Tea, coffee, ice cream, and amazing baked goods. It was great.
Food is good, value is excellent. Friendly service. Great ambience, is circa 1890 single bay fire hall - walls decorated with art (local artists) available for sale. We'll be back for sure.
A very nice, restaurant with a great menu. Quite a nice variety of food selection and always delicious. Some of the meals remind me of some of the fancier meals you would get at a fine Toronto restaurant. However, you can still have your normal small town meals. The owner is friendly and grows her own fresh herbs.
Stopped in Orono to check out the antiquing and discovered The Fire Hall Bistro...we didn't have much time so we ordered a couple of western sandwiches and fries to go. Met the lovely owner and chatted a bit...our take out was ready in no time...giant sandwiches no skimping on ingredients...amazing hand cut fries and deelish coleslaw for a great price! Will most definitely return and I would recommend to anyone visiting Orono!
