Avaliação da contribuiçãoNo ruffles, you get what you are looking for, tuna cooked in various ways. You can of course compare it with other Michelin Star Restaurant. I'd give 3.5 stars. There was no queue at Wed night at 8:00.
Half of the articles on the English version of Specials and sashimi menu were not available. That said the few dishes we ordered were very pleasant. Do not expect the highest quality, but go there for an authentic local experience of after-work drinking and food culture.
Giving a one star only because we were refused service either because we had our kids with us or because we are foreigners or maybe it was both. I understand this is an Izakaya which is meant for adults after work to eat and drink in merriment. Which is why we arrived when they opened at 5 to avoid the business crowd. Other Izakayas have allowed us entry since we explained we will eat quick and leave as soon as the rush comes in. But nope they told us they don’t have room for us. Funny because the entire place was empty, and there weren’t anyone else lined up behind us either.
Turned away and was told “no seats” but saw empty seats available. And even after a group finished up their meal and left shortly, we were still being turned away.
Was told that it was full despite 2 open counter seats. When a crowd of 4 came out we were still told that it was over filled despite them clearing a table of 4. Oh well.. guess we're not too welcome here.
