Teddy's Restaurant & Deli - Oshawa

Thing no change in for years but know it not the same bring back Julian to the way it's supposed to be

The staff at this restaurant is excellent, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere where guests are treated with respect. The menu offers a wide variety of options, with generous portions and high quality. This restaurant is particularly convenient for my family, as we live quite far away from each other. My 22-month-old grandson even tried some of my corned beef, and we all left with smiles on our faces.

I have been going to Teddy's since the early 1980s and have always enjoyed it. I recently visited with my sisters and noticed that there is a new owner. I was surprised to see that side orders, which used to be included with meals, now cost $5.07. I can't justify paying that much for a side of peas or a small portion of fries. Unfortunately, this change has deterred me from returning as it seems unreasonable. I will miss their deli items, but I can't support this kind of price increase.

I came to the restaurant to order our usual dishes - my husband loves the smoked meat, and I had the warehouse, which was delicious. The gravy for the fries was dark and flavorful.

Got seated quicky, friendly staff, very attentive. Food was terrible, I had chicken veg soup, veg was obviously frozen. Tasted terrible. My entre had a huge helping of frozen carrots that were not very warm, they were mushy and awful. Not the Teddy's of a few years ago,
