Thats about 45 mins away from this place and I would drive past 4 other closer pho restaurants to come here.I was visiting my mother with my hubby and 6 month old and we got hungry. It's like 8 at night on a Sunday and I know most places are closing so I googled the closest pho place. The one my mom usually goes to was closed so we went to I Cook Pho You. I thought the name was kind of kitchy but cute. We got there and it was to close in half an hour so we ordered and I half expected to be rushed out but we were doted on! This place had such great service and honestly the best rice paper shrimp rolls I have ever tasted! I had a rare beef in broth (typical pho) and it was super yummy. My mother had pork in chicken broth (which I tried and the pork was so tender and flavorful.) My hubby had chicken, beef, and shrimp vermicelli and he said that it was really good too. The waitor kept making faces at my daughter and kept her entertained. It was adorable! They didn't have a change table but I come prepared with a pad so they were as accommodating as they could be so that was ok.Overall I would recommend this place and I will definitely go back! Oh and they do take out as well so I know my mom will definitely be putting them on speed dial!
Ordered take-out. They said it would be ready in 10 minutes. It was ready in 9! That's one plus right there! For this visit I had the deep fried spring rolls and a large chicken and shrimp Udon. Perfect! My wife had the tofu rice paper rolls and the grilled chicken and spring roll vermicelli. Also excellent, and there was more there than she could finish.2 happy customers! Will be back.
Stopped here for lunch to take away. Ordered two servings of their most popular pho. The service was pleasant and the order took about 5-7 minutes to prepare which I thought was very reasonable and went a long way to reassure me that it had been prepared fresh. Sprouts were nice and crunchy and the pho was piping hot when I arrived at my destination. Good experience.
Eaten a lot of pho in Ottawa and this was one of the best. A lot of pho places serve only the soup this place offered many more Thai options which I look forward to trying. We took so friend who have never eaten pho before and it's safe to say this place made some new believers. Only complaint was they served us drinks after we got our food which left me parched for a lot longer then is normal. However food win!
Dropped by to order take-out, reasonably priced, fresh. The service was very polite and friendly and was impressed with the clean and fresh look of the restaurant. I had the BBQ pork, vegetables and rice.
