Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe had an incredible evening at the Duelling Pianos restaurant. The performers were fantastic and a definite must-see. The staff was also excellent and the atmosphere was unbelievable.
No longer called the Sens House. Its call Sky now. Food is a little over priced but great atmosphere and friendly staff. If i were the type that went to bars and lounges then this place would be the place
Went with my bf and paid $70 per ticket for the front row. Took 35 min to get offered one drink. When we went to the bar we were told they come to you and to go sit to wait an hour and 20 min later for a couple of drinks and some nachos. The show was ok for the most part nothing that should cost 70 bucks for front row experience. And after all that waiting they got the order wrong and the pop tasted like water. It’s practically a dive with too many ppl and not enough staff to handle the flow of ppl. Utterly not impressed one bit.for the price they ask it’s not worth it. Ottawa sens should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this establishment. It’s beyond sad. Money better spent elsewhere!!!!!
Disappointed beyond belief……We bought tickets for the ‘Duelling Piano’s on Saturday evening, tickets said ‘6-9pm’. When we arrived at 5:50pm, the doors weren’t open yet. As everyone filtered in, the place was a mess. The tables were dirty, they weren’t placed orderly and there was no one at the door scanning our tickets to show us to our tables. We picked a table, only to find out that it wasn’t our table and we moved to the appropriate one. There were approximately a handful of servers on the floor plus two to three bartenders. (This could be off slightly though) Our server came around and took our drink order (we weren’t ordering food) and 20 minutes later, the drinks arrived. All of the draft beer that was given to us was wrong. All of our glasses smelled and tasted like puke. We sent them back and she apologized and returned with a replacement round for each of us. Again, they were all wrong and the glasses still smelled awful. We again sent them back and she said ‘You’re not the only ones complaining about the draft beer and glasses.’ She returned with bottles after that, and the beer was fine from there on. I started keeping track of my own drinks that our table was ordering because every time she came to our table she was flustered and couldn’t remember the drink orders or would forget some and have to come back.Fast forward to the end of the night, bills were wrong. She took a photo of my phone where I had kept track of the drinks to be able to compare to her list. She returned with the corrected bills but there was still a discrepancy. She was charging us for a ‘pint’ of beer when no one at the table was ordering pints, and for one of the original draft beers because there was ‘half of it drank’. Long story short- we refused to pay for either of those two drinks and the ‘GM’ came to our table saying that ‘he tasted our draft beer that we sent back ‘with a straw’ and that every one of them tasted fine.’ He also went on to say that if we didn’t pay for the ‘half of the draft beer’ that he was charging us for that he was going to call the police. Nice bunch. Our table of 6 adults, spent almost $300 in drinks in less than 3 hours, and this is how we were treated. We will never return to this place. On a positive note; The Duelling Pianos were FANTASTIC! Worth every penny of the ticket to see them play. If you’d like to see them play, save yourself the nightmare and see them at ‘The Marshes’ at the Brookstreet Hotel in Kanata. At least that place has some class….
We thoroughly enjoyed Dave Khalil and the dualing pianos and can't wait to see them again at another venue. The Sens House was terrible. There is no signage for the venue, the hostess was less than welcoming, we had to fight for a table that wasn't going to collapse, the servers spent more time dancing together than serving their clients and the menu was incredibly limited. We won't be going back!
