La promenade - Ovronnaz

The decor is depressing, refreshing the walls and the ceilings, the color design etc would be good, the meals quite average I do a better croute de fromage at home in 5 minutes ! . The price not worth what u get as usual in this region of Switzerland, living still in the past

There are only a handful of restaurants in Ovronnaz and this is the best by far. It's a nice cozy simple alpine sort of place with friendly and helpful service and has an extensive menu of Valais style dishes dried meats, fondues and raclette all washed down with the local vin du Valais quite nice Fondant and home made puddings. You have to reserve it's casual and there are few tourists it's mainly locals, hikers and a few skiers at lunch time.

Great restaurant with a wonderful warm welcome and delicious meals. I recommend.

A good address in Ovronnaz. Careful welcome and very friendly and efficient service! The pierrade with its 6 types of meat (and homemade sauces! is very good. There are also several kinds of cordon bleu which must be worth the detour. Children are welcome and can draw on their menu; well seen!
