Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe restaurant is comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The owner, Anne, was warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. We would love to return and highly recommend it!
Under new ownership and management. Are going for an English pub style atmosphere and are succeeding. Went for lunch and had a great meal with home cut fries. Night life is supposed to be the in spot for young adults
I asked the hotel clerk for recommendations on where to have dinner and drinks while in town. One of the suggestions was The Pub, which had recently experienced a fire and some parts of the bar were still closed. Despite this, we decided to stop by for drinks and a meal. The food was typical pub fare, and we were fortunate to get our orders in before the kitchen closed due to the low number of customers. We met some locals, enjoyed their stories, and shared some laughs. The staff and patrons were friendly. Surprisingly, none of the other bars or restaurants in downtown were open on this Sunday of the long weekend.
We decided to visit this pub after being drawn in by the charming exterior of the old building in downtown Owen Sound. Upon entering, we were pleased to find a nostalgic ambiance. The cold beer was just what we were looking for, and although we didn't dine here, we enjoyed a quick drink in the cool atmosphere of the pub.
Excellent cold beer, I had the small picture. We were served in child straight pint glasses nice. Winge where the best in town, A Large amount of large flat screen televisions the staff were very helpful and found the horse racing so i cold watch the Belmont. My wife had the Greek salad and raved at its size and it was freshness. Owners were friendly and accommodating. There were two pool tables so we cold pass the time till the race started.
