Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis was our second time as a family going to this Wendy’s in Owen Sound. The first time we had really prompt and efficient drive thru service, even though it was prime time lunch hour rush @1pm. We all had cheeseburgers and fries. The burgers were fresh but the fries were not as hot or fresh! This last time we went, it was also during the lunch hour rush. Once agin prompt efficient service while ordering and picking up, unfortunately this time I decided to have their avocado chicken salad. I remembered how much I used to enjoy Wendy’s Asian chicken salad with almond slivers. I was highly disappointed when I opened my salad, on top of the wilted spring mix was a massive plop of mushy green guacamole, with mush diced tomatoes, and a small pile of dried mozzarella cheese. The chicken was seared looking but not thoroughly cut through. I was quite ill the next day from it! I recommend Wendy’s burgers but definitely not their salads. A definite thumbs down on their salads
Great spicey chicken sandwiches ,love the idea of getting many other sides ,besides french fries , and lots of variety of pop to pick from
I ordered the chicken nuggets, chili cheese fries, and a drink before going to a concert. The service was quick and my food was ready promptly. My husband ordered the mozza burger and thought the bun was greasy, which I have noticed at other Wendy's locations as well. It would be a good idea to drain the grease before assembling the burger. I have decided to avoid getting burgers from Wendy's in the future.
I live over a hundred kilometers away from this restaurant, so I have only visited a few times over the years (the last visit being approximately five years ago). I used to enjoy their hamburgers because the meat was always fresh. However, during my most recent visit, I ordered a hamburger and was given a cheeseburger instead. When I brought this up to the cashier, she informed me that all of their hamburgers come with cheese. I explained that in my experience, a hamburger does not include cheese - if I want cheese, I order a cheeseburger. Despite my protest, I was told that I could order a hamburger without cheese, but would still be charged the same amount. I found this to be unfair, especially since I work in a cafeteria where cheeseburgers cost more than hamburgers, and realized that the restaurant was likely making a significant profit by including cheese on all their burgers. This felt like a dishonest money-making scheme to me, and I have no intention of returning to this establishment in the future.
This restaurant is conveniently located with ample parking, it is clean, and the food is consistently delicious with a wide variety of options to create a satisfying meal.
