Firehouse Subs Jackson Ave - Oxford

This was my first experience with Firehouse Subs. I was disappointed to say the least. I ordered a half sandwich, thinking it would probably be about the same size as a 6-inch sub at Subway. Turns it out was more like the size of a Krystal! Lol. The sandwich was great, there just was not enough of it. The staff were all standing in a circle talking about a customer who had just left, one lady working at the counter kept playing with her hair, then went and bagged French fries. Thank goodness I didn't order any ?‍?. I would say that was probably my first and final trip to this venue. For the price I paid for the mini sub, i could have had a great 6 inch sandwich of my choice, a bag of chips and a drink. All of the employees wear gloves and keep themselves busy enough not to talk about their customers behind their backs. Just telling it like it is! L

The food was not bad BUTTTT i got my food 30 minutes before the person I was with even though they ordered first. My soup was also freezing cold. Once they did get the food it was the wrong thing, it took them an extra 10 minutes to fix the mistake and still made it with onions even though we asked for no onions. By the way, the store was completely empty so this slowness is unbelievable. He was not offered a refund but definitely should have been. Will not go back till staff can make food properly and understand what is on the ticket.
