Outback Steak House - Paducah

Came tonight only to wait 40 minutes and no one came by to say hi. we called the load to say it, and the manager wasn't even interested. decided to go to texas roadhouse. eating and service are much better there. don't waste your time at outback.

We have eaten here several times and have never had a bad meal.

I've been visiting Outback for years, lately less often, but usually good service and food. My recent visit was exceptional for two reasons: The service was on point and the Bloomin' fried chicken was fire! Our server was Shannon and they did not miss a beat! I don't mind asking for refills, but had no need to, Shannon was on top of it. No asked for condiments forgotten, quick checks to ensure food was great, you really couldn't ask for more. #28

My server was awesome. She was attentive and kind. Myself and the 3 others in my party all ordered steaks. Two out 4 were overcooked, 2 had hairs in it, though the manager thought the strand from my filet mignon may have been gristle (there 's no gristle in filet mignon . I wouldn 't have said anything as it was my very last bite but the manager was already standing there to take care of the other couple in my party. She offered to comp it and not question the hair/gristle I told her thank you and she didn 't have to but she did. I was grateful. The one steak that came out the way it was ordered and hairless was taken home as by this time she had lost her appetite. Other than the hair in filet, it was soft and tender like butter and had a wonderful flavor. The sides and salad were perfect, the bread warm and soft. Again, my server was top notch, though I do not remember her name (I 'm sorry! . If/when you go, check your steak temp and inspect for hair.

Great food. The prime rib was superb and the fully loaded baked potato was amazing. Delicious free bread and just a $3.99 uncharge to get a very nice cesar salad as a starter, make this place excellent. The server was top notch and we really enjoyed the atmosphere here. Highly recommended.
