Janie's Snack - Palacios

I only gave this place one star because I had to give it something. If you like salt this is the place for you. I ordered two hamburgers with fries. Both had so much salt they were inedible. The texture of the pattys was hard to describe. Tough is the closest I can come. I asked for lettuce and tomato, they had none. On to price,. $18.00 for two burgers, one order of fries and two drinks that I had to remind them that I had asked for. Do your self a favor and don't go here

Must try the smoked brisket and you won't be disappointed.

These 2 people that own this little place r the Best People u will ever meet they make u feel at home r just the best cooks ever they cook everything when ordered in a skillet it’s home cooking the breakfast burritos r to die for heck any of their food is it’s the best u can hear some good Ol stories while ur there

If you leave town without trying this place, you are def missing out! The food is homecooked and excellent!

We went on a Sunday, the OPEN sign wasn 't lit, but when I poked my head in, they were open. We ordered bbq sandwiches, fries, drinks then sat on the recliner and watched the news. When the food arrived (with much hospitality), it was amazing! The brisket was moist, bbq sauce was good, maybe unnecessary, and the fries were nice and crispy. This is the best restaurant I have been to in Palacios!
