Avaliação da contribuiçãoVery local experience with only handwritten Italian menu on the board and no English speaking waiters. Food was a oily and watery but tasted good overall. Bread looked ordinary but was surprisingly good. I also quite like pasta with eggplant. Service was not the best, not sure if it’s because we came just 20 minutes before shop closed and we didn’t speak Italian.
Good authentic place to have pasta dishes. But very nice to know before having a table here.. their menu is not in English, their waiters does not speak English. This restaurant is a local restaurant for Italians travellers are welcome, but if you dont understand anything like we did, you dont know what you're having. Quite a fun experience though : Cheap food, cheap wine and lots you won't go home hungry from here.
Very nice atmosphere. Local spirit, not international. Friendly waiter in family-stile . Good simple food. Great prizes. Nice way to meet Sizilien culture. Visit is fun!
Don 't give ANY money to these people if you 're for antiracism and kindness. I 'm sure the food is great but it counts for nothing without basic decent human interaction The guy working at the entrance tonight showed rude and racist behaviour. When I asked him (in Italian. I 'm Italian, I 've just lived abroad for over a decade) to just be a little kinder his response was this is why north and south don 't get along and a door slammed in my face. As if asking to be treated with respect depended on me being from another part of the country and as if it were not, well, an obvious request. Good it 's not my first experience in Palermo because this would have given the city a pretty negative image. The irony of his north south remark: my partner who got upset at him first for his unacceptable behaviour is from Buenos Aires way further south than this dude. Ridiculous, mob like behaviour
A really atmospheric place, with interesting dishes and good service. Only slight downside was whole menu not available and we had to refer to a board, which was a bit frustrating, but not a massive problem and food was great.
