Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis restaurant is a great option for anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine. I tried the onion uthappam and it was excellent, with all the accompaniments being equally delicious. Another day, I ordered the masala dosa which was also very good. On a third visit, I opted for carry out and was not disappointed - the pula, curd rice, and accompaniments were all very tasty.
This was the worst experience ever. The staff here are very unfriendly, the restaurant served spoiled curd rice, and the accommodation is terrible. To top it off, breakfast was already closed at 10 am.
Went to the AC restaurant for lunch on a weekend, after waiting for 15 minutes they ushered us in. We ordered their 'Today 's special Maharaja meals ' after they said that they will provide juice, soup and dessert along with the regular south indian thali in this version. We got pineapple juice in a 'shot glass '! Then came bowls of tomato soup(tomato puree in reality), absolutely no salt and pepper in the soup, I have never tasted such a bland soup in any respectable hotels so far. After this came the main thali.... It had a runny sambar, heated readymade roti, and 4-5 different bowls of items which can be called as coloured salt dishes! Even the curd was really salty, but I ate them just taste how horrendous the food could be. After this came one gulab jamoon and a beeda. The gulab jamun had a solid core that was difficult to bite and tasted like the frozen tinned one gets in the markets. Unfortunately a few of us had ordered extra jamuns claiming that this is a famous item here and got the same treatment. After all of this came the bill. Now the rate for that salty meal with a bland soup and frozen gulab jamun was Rs.240! It did not end here, the extra gulab jamuns they gave were billed at Rs.20 apiece! I had reluctantly agreed to eat there as I knew from my earlier experience that the food here never justifies the rates they charge. But they outdid my expectations this time by going many notches lower! Avoid this restaurant at all costs.
NO HOT WATER AVAILABLE AT ALL. MY BABY HAD BATH IN CLOD WATER. The hotel food is a tasteless combo of south and north. breakfast is same for all days usual idli chutny and wada. no sandwiches or any special things for kids. i asked for plain rice for my 2 year old baby, even that was not available at the so called famous hotel. UTTER DISAPPOINTMENT
We were on for a lunch with family, The Ground level of the restaurant was too noisy and they asked us to go to the upper level. Food of average quality and the taste also average. Ambiance of the restaurant is not that great but bit noisy. Overall an average restaurant.
