When I 'm on a road trip, I am always on the lookout for unique places to check out and make my trip all the more memorable. The Gem is exactly what I 'm looking for! A historic theater (around even BEFORE motion pictures! run by the same family, that still operates as a movie theater. They serve food and hands down THE best ice cream I 've ever had.. I highly recommend a scoop or two of Graham Canyon !! Upstairs is filled with nostalgic photos and memorabilia. Wandering through this gem transported me back to a magical time... and do not miss The Rock Room it will not disappoint!! Historical, educational and delightful! This place is FUN and it made me SMILE stop in and see for yourself!

We are visiting from out of town and came here for breakfast on a Thursday morning. The restaurant is clean and our server was great, she was genuinely nice and very attentive. The food was delicious and you get huge portions for the amount of money that you pay. If we weren’t just passing through, I would have loved to check them out for lunch. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to others if the opportunity ever presents itself.

Had lunch here today. The food was overcooked and not good. When we asked about the overdoneness we were told the food was cooked to a temp and was suppose to be that way. The staff was very defensive and rude to this feedback. The food was overcooked, charred and dried out. Yuck!!!

The food are really good and beyond my expectations. The fries are big and juicy, cheese curbs are really delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant, better than all the other restaurants I tried during my trip.
