Le Camion Bleu Du Hameau - Paradou

Very well located and in a nice and relaxed atmosphere, le camion bleu offers a varied menu (grilled meat, sandwiches, salad) and we all liked our food. Staff is very friendly and helpful and overall it was a more than successful experience.

A really lovely place to enjoy dining outside on a warm evening. There is a good range of menu options including a rotisserie served from a converted old van.

Windy night and then it started to rain waiters did not exactly rush to get us to a more protected seating area we had to do that ourselves. Food expensive for what it is i.e roast chicken from the rotisserie was about 17 euros for nothing else on the plate and everything else is extra so it makes the Bistro du Paradou seem very cheap for all the coursed they give you. Probably won't return. Also very dusty where you have to park. The outdoor area however is very attractive and I can imagine on a sunny evening it would all be a lot nicer but it still would not change my mind re the food. Some of the waitresses seemed to be very inexperienced. They need to sharpen up their act as there is a lot of competition in the area particularly in Maussane.

Stayed here in May for a special celebration. Will come back again. We both lovend the place. The hotel is special, perhaps even Unique. With the historie, the classic cars, the furniture (which is for sale) and the great breakfast. Do I miss something? Yes the service is outstanding.

Absolutely no service: that evening, there was a movie outside afterwards wich was a good idea. So we asked for just a main course and desert . The fish carpaccio was warm (So was the weather), the lamb was barely warm and overcooked, And the service totally amateur and disorganised. The perfect Domaine Hauvette rosé wine I chose reached the table too late and wasn 't even cooled, we had to ask for bred several times and for water and for our deserts...and for the check. The food was just ok for a price above Average. The Blue truck is a fun place but Forget service and be prepared for overpriced food. And we had to rush though our dîner but the movie was over 30 minutes late which the restaurant had not been informed about.
