La Reine Mer - Paris

I don't normally associate good food with chain store restaurants, but then I temporarily forgot we were in Paris! What a great and unexpected find. I had conchiglioni with clams and a glass of Viognier. Lunchtime bliss. Next time we visit this Printemps store we will be sure to make it around lunchtime. Who needs shopping when you have food this good? Service was efficient rather than friendly and prices were reasonable.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch and we enjoyed our meal very much. The service was very friendly and prompt, which is always appreciated. My husband ordered the fish burger which was 21 euros. His Coke was 6.50 euros. i ordered the Pate Vongole (clams and pasta) which was 26 euros. My bottle of mineral water was 6.50 euros. Both of us thought our meal was tasty, memorable, and well executed. We were seated at a window table and enjoyed a clear view of the Eiffel Tower while we lingered over our lunch. When we next travel to Paris, we plan to return to this restaurant because the food was fresh, the service was excellent, and the ambience quite enjoyable.
