If you like politeness, don't go! I've never been treated like TEL!You get to this living room and you really expect to have a nice time, everything is cute, little cups a little kitsch all I love, it's very charming (from the outside). So after an exhibition at the Musée d'orsay I decided to go to this living room with a friend and there my disappointment was not small. As much as the young lady who served us was kind as the older lady was more than execrable with us. She spoke loudly with her friends to the point that we couldn't even get along with my friend, she acted unrespectful as if we weren't customers, she looked at us with contempt, we almost felt to disturb and not be welcome. The whole thing is that my friend asked the odious lady's presupposed daughter if she could go to the toilet, she kindly told her the way until the older lady said "no you can't go," pretexting that there had suddenly been a pane. And it doesn't stop there, not even a good-bye even a hint, when we hold a business madam learned that the client is king, and I don't even ask to be treated as such, I simply ask for a minimum of politeness and consideration, even though you wouldn't live exclusively from that, we take part in what you have in your coat of arms, you should be aware of it. I highly advise you this tea room, the choice in tea is more limited and even if the pastries are correct (the crumble is good) obviously by being in the antiques square it is normal that the prices are excessive. but don't go because the welcome is more than mediocre, it leaves me a memory more than bitter.
The reception is far from being in line with the charm of the place. We almost felt like we were disturbing. To our surprise, the hostess made us comments moved on Saturday's clientele. She brought us the hot chocolates, telling us that they might not be hot because the girl who usually does them is missing. a 8 € hot chocolate, it's the least thing! But the absurdity of such a statement made us laugh. experience will have us entertained for a long time, but we will not return. (the addition for 2 mediocre chocolates has less fun).
It is a good tea room when you consider that you are in one of the most expensive betting areas. The boss likes the regulars and we're better and better served, which can explain the comments a little hard when you come for the first time. Finally, a typical French service!
Tea room that looks from the very nice outside but finally very disappointing. No card, you are orally told the dishes to choose, no price displayed, the salads are served without sauce and some very few copies for a price of17€, more when you notice an error in choosing a salad, especially no excuse, it is the fault of the person in the kitchen! service is not very professional and it is more horribly expensive. I'm not going back there and I'm not advising.
