Avaliação da contribuiçãoI’m a fitness fanatic and a health food enthusiast. So when I read about Skinny’s Grill and their tag line “low on carbs, fat on flavour”, they certainly got my attention. Anything that promises me to be high on protein low on carbs has me at hello. Now when I looked on their Instagram and saw burgers and pastas, I wasn’t quite sure how this could be possible, so went to try it myself. They sell a range of starters, burgers, meat dishes and desserts. If you order a burger or meat, you select your side and the “carbo meter” tells you what option is best, like salad or brown rice or sweet potato fries. We had the crispy chicken burger on low carb bread with low carb crumbing and fresh salad it was an extremely good burger. We also had the “no carb bruschetta”. Whilst it doesn’t have “no carbs” (its vegetables), it was certainly a low carb option as it was minus the bread, with the tomatoes on top of some super fresh and juicy mushrooms. We thought we should try a pasta to see how it differs. I asked about the pasta and it is made with a sort of wheat and protein supplement. The flavour was nice and the pasta sort of tasted like a wholegrain pasta does, a bit dense, which is to be expected. The service was extremely lovely and very prompt. The cafe is quite big and modern. You can also sit outside as we did. The concept is smart, for all those on low carb diets, and you can see your daily intake of carbs/protein/fats etc. For those on a low carb diet it’s a tasty way to enjoy it.
Best Burger place in the world extremely quality food friendly staff and great value for money their chain is only Available in Australia so anyone that visits Oz needs to go here. and they need these all over the world especially UK
I have always received excellent service from the staff here. They are very efficient and polite. The burgers at Grill'd are substantial and satisfying. Some burger places leave you feeling hungry, but this place definitely fills you up. During my visit, I tried the Zen Hen burger and it was delicious. I wish there was more satay sauce, but other than that, it was great. They also serve beer, including a selection of craft beers from local breweries. You have the option to add extra patties to your burgers if you want to.
The restaurant offers amazing, juicy burgers with a diverse range of flavors to satisfy even the pickiest connoisseurs. It fits in perfectly on Eat Street and has a social, welcoming atmosphere with a touch of community engagement.
It can be difficult to find places to eat as a vegan or vegetarian, but I have always loved Grill'd and have frequented this restaurant many times. During lunchtime, especially during this busy time of year, it can get quite crowded. On Friday, December 6th at 1:45pm, I approached a girl with short, dark brown hair after my burger was burnt to a crisp. Although I did not catch her name, she handled the situation well - she did not react negatively but instead offered me a full refund and a gift card. We should all learn from her customer service approach - when a mistake is made, strive to provide a better experience, not a worse one. This one bad experience does not diminish my love for Grill'd, as it is a fantastic place to eat, especially for vegans. Despite today not being my day, I am impressed that I left the restaurant without a bad taste in my mouth. I will definitely return to use my gift card, perhaps at a less busy time. Thank you for the avocado - it was delicious, although I am still hungry and unfortunately do not have time to order another burger.
