Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe parking is bad on a busy day especially weekend lunch so try to get there early. This place offers Filipino cuisine, and they do it well! Try the blue marlin grilled or sinigang style. The liempo is pretty good as well. You can’t really go wrong with any food item though!
The food is great and the time is fast. The sea breeze adds a beautiful touch in your culinary experience. Recommended to go here in dusk to see sunsets. I recommend having your own private car, because the comrades here hardly buy for tricycles.
Seafood at the best price! Family favorite. Blue Marlin: juicy and fat! Grilled Squid: soft. Perfectly cooked pork sisig: just as good as the seafood ordered!
Melkens Seafood Restaurant is obviously the crowd's favorite restaurant in Brgy. Balaring based on what we have noticed last Saturday night. This was the only restaurant with plenty of guests. The place is big and beautifully designed and it can accomodate big group of diners. We had Sinigang na Gengaw, Kinilaw na Tangigue, Sizzling Boneless Bangus, Buttered Shrimp and Pork Sisig with Egg. Every dish we ordered was really good. The seafoods were so fresh. My Favorite is Sizzling Boneless Bangus. Don't miss this! The staff were really accomodating and entertaining. Our server was Mel and he was really good in doing his job. Overall, it was a great experience. Will definitely revisit!
After the cultural tour in Silay City we ate our lunch in a coastal barangay of the city. They are a lot of seafood restaurant in Barangay Balaring. Melkens Seafood Restaurant is our choice. A great ambience and a good floating restaurant. You will have a great view of the sea.
