Great place. The good was very good, for the price not too sure. I went for my mother birthday and I give the food and drinks and ambiance 5 start. They very clean and the staffs where very well groomed.
Ive never come to physically eat in the restaurant but I have ordered from here every week. The takeout never ever disappoints. Delicious! My husbands fav is the jack veneno fried rice. I always order the chicken teriyaki bento with yucca fries. It comes with a salad and I always have enough to either share with someone or pack the leftover for lunch the next day. We have also tried the churrasco bento and grilled chicken bento. The grilled chicken came to me a bit try so thats why I stick with the chicken teriyaki. Delicious and will keep ordering from here. Highly recommended
Expertise, mastery, showmanship and precision are four words that aptly describe the hibachi chefs at Chinito Latino. In addition to possessing all the skills of a gourmet chef, these professionals incorporate the art of performance into their cooking. They delight diners not just with the taste of their dishes, but with an immense repertoire of amazing tricks they use to create it. Thank you for a wonderful evening Chinito Latino. I will be back!
Compared to other restaurants located on Dyckman Street, Chinito Latino's presence on the strip may have been underwhelming and the inside barely had anyone on Father's Day (Sunday), but this did not stop my father and I's experience here at the establishment on Father's Day. Greeted by our handsome host, Lisandro, we were taken upstairs. As per many establishments in NYC, the space seemed tight, but expected. We were seated in one of three grill-tables and waited for our other party, a mother and daughter, to join us. 30 minutes after having placed our order, the chef came--my father and I had the chicken and beef mix. Dominican food prepared in Hibachi-style is something I have never experienced before (bachata playing in the background and seasoned with Hispanic-based ingredients) but I did enjoy myself and more so my father.
