Avaliação da contribuiçãoWhen I drove from OKC to Dallas, I was looking for a place to eat. I really wanted BBQ, and the few places I first looked at were closed on Monday. But Bob wasn't. I had the three-meat commo that was a few pork ribs, a couple of chopped brisket and a couple of frying porcupines. So the bride was the best. Largest pieces, very moist, good taste and delicate. Loin next door. Very good taste, most of the meal. Unfortunately dry and not very delicate. The latter, the ribs, since these are most difficult to do. They were not the fleshiest ribs I had. They were tender in a part of the meat, but there were also some very hard parts that I could not chew through. There was not much bark, and not much taste.
I had the pork sandwich with fries for lunch and the sandwich was very good. Reminded me of pulled pig in the southeast with a vinegar-based sauce. The pommes were not my favorite (over boiled too low and slow), but I have about it. I'll be back to lunch in the future.
Great atmosphere, fantastic friendly service. The best beans I've had for years. Only cash.
Family loves it.. We've eaten here a lot. Have it also used for catering and smoking. Tamales and chicken enchiladas are good. Perücken Sandwiches and Prime Rib are great. Don't forget to get the spiced pommes and pico de gallo! Service is good. BEWARE! It is busy and not much parking!!
Great lunch stop between Dallas and OKC. Worth the couple of miles off the main highway to experience an historic and delicious meal! Pig Sandwich for sure!
