Everything is right, great for brunch, to catch up with your family and friends, great tea ceremony for biz/clients. Love love love the ceramic mug. (I call them cups much more Eu).On top of the above, they do catering, and great baskets for all type of events gift! Kuddos to all, definitely a place needed in the Rockland and Bergen counties areas.Unique, must visit ..and now let me go and run to have lunch there! ? ? ? ? ?
Yesterday was my first time visiting Gracie Rose And it’s definitely In my top three favorite restaurants now. I had the chicken curry and my friend had sausage and chips. Our lunches were absolutely perfect. The restaurant itself is very cheerful and cozy. Both the owners and the staff are so friendly. We felt like we’ve been coming here for years. If you go for lunch or dinner, be sure to leave room for dessert, E mma’s baked goods or to die for! I finished my meal with a pot of berries, tea and a slice of her Rhubarb strawberry pie warmed up with fresh cream. All I can say is I think I can kiss my low-carb diet goodbye! I will be back very very soon. The only thing I can say that I wish was different would be if they were open a bit later in the evening.PS: Be sure to check out all of the Irish groceries they sell as well!
I can’t believe this place was out of my radar! Always looking for a new place to try, I found The Gracie Rose and we went for breakfast that Saturday morning. It’s wonderful. I ordered chicken curry (if you know, you know. If not, now you do! , which fed me there, and at home for another 2 meals. Portions aren’t small here! Other dishes ordered were beef stew (eaten in full on-site and pancakes wrapped with strawberries and Nutella (half taken home . All were delicious. There’s a lot of curated things to purchase as gifts for yourself, teachers, friends. Items include home decor, local artisanal goods, and candy/chocolate you won’t find elsewhere. Most items were in the $2- $40 range, with plenty in the $10-20 price point. It’s always a good day when your adventure leads you to a place you look forward to visiting again.
The best fry my husband has said he's ever had in NY. Pricey though. Breakfast and a pot of tea for one $28? They offer staple food stuff from Ireland. Nothing is marked as prices vary weekly. Very well displayed.
I ordered the traditional Irish breakfast. The order came out wrong. The people are very nice. The quality of the food not so much. The puddings didn’t taste like anything. The sausages were overcooked the bacon or rashers. We’re not really rashers. Atmosphere I’d give the place at 10 everything else I’ll pass.
