Avaliação da contribuiçãoFrankies is a family tradition. When we come to the city, our journey is not completed until we have met Frankie for a bowl of green chili stew. I always buy at least 6 glasses of red and green sauce to lure home to St. Louis. Always the best and most anticipated part of our holidays
Delicious food. Friendly and helpful staff. Pet friendly terrace. We'll be in town next time. Our food in the pictures are in the departure, but once we learned that they were pet-friendly, we stayed and enjoyed the terrace.
Frankie's has been a local Pecos area favorite for years. Terrific red and green chile (available for purchase by the quart) and an extensive and ample breakfast menu make it an especially worthwhile weekend stop. The buttermilk pancakes and perfectly prepared bacon are notable, too. Frankie's is also open for lunch and dinner The ambience in the historic former dance hall is wonderful, with paintings of old-time dancers and rowdy cowboys and antique horse paraphernalia lining the walls. On cold mornings and evenings, there's often a fire in the fireplace to take the chill off. In warm weather, there are outdoor tables off to the side and on the front porch. Call in advance for current hours/days open
A welcomed treat after spending time at the Pecos National Monument. Unassuming on the outside, inside is straight out of a western novel. Ordered the green chile/chicken enchilada casserole. Good..but, for my New Mexican taste buds needs a bit more fire. We were a group of 10 service was fast, friendly and deserving of praise. Other meals ordered were just as attention getting. Group was 100% happy. Definitely would be a return customer.
Loved this place! We needed brunch on our way to Pecos Nat?l Park. The decor is so authentic and the food was some of the most flavorful we have ever had! I will be going back home to West Texas and try to recreate some of those recipes! Service was great. I had the chicken stacked enchiladas with 2 over easy eggs. My husband had the steak omelette. Even the beans and potatoes were packed full of flavor! Loved our stop.
