Avaliação da contribuiçãoUp until about 6 weeks ago, we'd not had one bad experience at Soul. We'd attended for a family breakfast ( 2 adults, 3 school aged children) at least once every 3 weeks for a year.I'm not sure if something has happened or there has been a changing of chef/cook in the last 6 weeks. Our last three breakfasts have been poor. What used to be fast and efficient service, has slowed right down to the point you have to try and flag a waitress to take you order and then wait near on an hour for food. It hasn't been busy. Has been half full. And have been served and received awesome food in half the time with double the customers before so know something has changed. The food has been underwhelming. Our breakfast on the weekend came out. My omelette was dark brown and tasteless, when it's usually golden and fluffy with a flavour punch. My wife and daughter ordered the same bacon and eggs. One come out with a small slice of Turkish Bread and the other with two slices of toast that was hardly toasted or buttered. It was pretty well plain stale bread. Their bacon obviously sat for several minutes awaiting the eggs as the eggs were served hot while the bacon was served luke warm and greasy like it had sat in the oil waiting to be plated. The time before I'd ordered bacon and eggs with a side of avocado, hash brown and hollandaise. Wife ordered the sliders and The kids ordered a toasted sandwich and scrambled eggs and bacon. Literally one meal came out at a time. First was the scrambled eggs and bacon. 3 minutes later, my sons toastie cam out. Few minutes later my order came out. The poached eggs weren't soft yolk, they were hard. The hollandaise sauce was cold like it was straight out of the fridge and they forgot the hash brown. I asked the waitress for the hash brown. No apology. Then the second lot of bacon and eggs came out. 10 minutes later, the kids had finished their food and my wife was still waiting for her sliders. I'd finished my breakfast 5 minutes before my wife's sliders came out. By time it come out, it was literally 20-25 minutes after the first bacon and eggs. My wife was nearly finished when all of a sudden they brought out my missing hash brown. Again, 20 minutes after I advised the waitress. During this time, a family and a seperate couple got up and walked out, frustrated with the wait.I won't worry about detailing the time before that, but it was a similar experience.I really hope you can get your Mojo back and get back to the great food we were accustomed to up until 6 weeks ago. We will give you one more chance. If it fails again, we will no longer be customers and will take our regular repeat business to another cafe and hopefully find what we had with Soul previously!!
Always consistently good food and coffee. Service staff are friendly but you need to fight for their attention and they often forget parts of your order.. or you
We came here looking for coffee and weren't disappointed, it's great. We returned later in the afternoon for lunch after reading they had gluten and dairy free options. Lunch was good, the stuffed mushrooms with goat cheese were great, and though the steak was a little undercooked, they happily fixed it and the meat was tender and delicious. Our daughter had the chicken nuggets and enjoyed those as well. Very friendly place, will definitely return whenever I'm in karratha.
Friendly welcoming staff every time we come in, comfortable environment to take my toddler along and enjoy a coffee and baby cino :) Food is delicious everytime!
We went here for a work lunch and the 5 of us enjoyed a variety of great tasting food. Slightly pricey although a more upmarket menu. We bought the protein balls for an afternoon snack and they were a bit too soft and not so enjoyable - a disappointment after the lunch...
