Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis is a no frills cafeteria style diner. The food was good. I wished my portion of grilled fish had been a little larger but it was cooked well and tasty. The butter beans were worth the vist, and the cornbread was fresh and soft. The turnip greens were a little salty, but we will definitely go back.
Fried pork chop very dry. Needs a brine to help tenderness and moisture. Love the staff but the food needs to improve. At $12.95 for meat and 2, make it delicious please.
This is a very traditional meat-and-three like you were once able to find in almost every town in the South. While the atmosphere is basic, it is exactly what one expects. We had a fine lunch and both commented on how we could have been in any number of small towns where we have had a similar meals in the last fifty years.A slice of real America where the diners are locals, tradesmen or lucky travelers.
The food is really good, but the coffee is equivalent to mud.
This diner is convenient for our family when we decide to have breakfast out. We like the food and service.
