Herrera's Mexican Food - Peoria

Last time I'm ordering from this place. They are literally charging 25 cents a cup of salsa now and I got order of carne asada fries. There is little meat, little avocado a little bit of sour cream. Nothing like it was before. I used to be a huge fan of this place. Now I'm just disgusted.

Stopped by to try it out. Nice lady, and the place was very clean. But alas, the simplest items, beef taco and standard tostada were not good. The taco had about 2 teaspoons of meat. The beans on the tostada were cold and bland. And I guess they just don't use onions.. I wish them well and commend them for being open 24 hours. But, they should streamline the menu and try to make a few good things, even if they have to raise their prices. Their food was pretty bad, I'm sad to say.

I visited the restaurant on July 2, 2024, around midnight, and I was disappointed with the rolled tacos. They tasted like raw tortillas and weren’t even properly cooked.

18 years ORIGINAL OWNERS DRIVE THREW IS THE BEST, CHIPS SALSA TACOS BUERTOS ARE ALL VERY GOOD,

Between two people, we got 2 horchatas, 2 burritos, and a carne asada fry to share the food was good. The horchata was not the best locally by any means more on the watery side would try a different drink next time. Burritos were good, as were the carne asada fries, and a nice note is they are 24/7
