Avaliação da contribuiçãoNo butter on the baguettes, despite asking for it, which was very dry. No implements provided. Dirty tables. Would have done better at the Mexican opposite.
I wandered in for the first time, this morning, and received warm welcoming service and fabulous coffee!!! I've now found my new favourite! Thank you, ladies at Tartine!
Stopped off at Tartines on my way to the Elizabeth Quay for some picnic supplies. They had delicious looking rolls, pastries and coffee. You can also buy cold drinks here. I had a ham and cheese roll in a long baguette that was fresh and deliciously crusty. I also bought a few pastries to share. The chocolate croissant and the pain au raisin were not too sweet, slightly flaky and perfectly baked. I also ordered a couple of coffees, both of which were excellent. In short, this is a great spot to grab yourself a snack to enjoy by the river or some lunch if you work in the area. There is seating under umbrellas as you exit and head towards St George's Tce. You can also take advantage of t their daily meal deals.
Tend to be a tad condescending to customers unless you are there regularly (as in each day not 2-3 times per week). For a café they aren't providing anything different to the many others around the CBD but their Moroccan soup is the best. Maybe they just need a reality check every now and then to remember they are in customer service and that the customer helps keep them afloat.
Just not friendly, not pleases no thank you a no your welcome, but the coffee is nice, oh well what do you do?
