Avaliação da contribuiçãoVisited today and sad to say it was just an average meal rather than the higher standard we have previously enjoyed. The menu is simplified, no problem with that, but the food was average. Also it is no longer good value as before. At €39 for a meal I expect more than just lettuce and some tomato and mashed potato with my maigret de canard. The chocolate fondant was ok but did not taste home made. I'm sad that this was not a great meal as we have had before, perhaps it was an off day but we will need persuading to go back in a hurry- shame.
We ate a lovely meal here last night as my husband had passed there by chance a couple of weeks ago and noticed how busy it was. We phoned and booked and only then did we read the poor previous review given since the change of ownership, but we decided to go with it anyway. The poor review given did not match up in any way with our experience. The restaurant was fairly busy with some clients, including locals, who were clearly regulars. The waitress was excellent and all tables appeared to be having a good time. The food was very good and other tables appeared to be enjoying the Thursday special, a Fred Flintstone sized cut of beef for two (must be booked a couple of days in advance). Our suggestion give it a try.
We had supper and the food was very enjoyable, nothing fancy but well cooked, tasty and good service. Shame that we were the only dinners that night, they deserve more evening customers. Wine list is very limited but does not detract from the meal as it is the food and service that counts.
This is now called Le Christ et Anna. We did not have a good evening there. The plat de jour was pretty tasteless and the pasta excessive with the bolognaise limited. The desert was dry and burnt. We remember the good old days when it was Le Vin Doux. Now that was food!
Remplacé par le christ&ana . Je me tiens à votre disposition pour requalifier l'établissement. Sincèrement.
