Water Shed was recommended by the owner of the rental we were in. Very small and quaint with homemade treats. Coffee was Starbuck quality and very well prepared. Great for a mid-day snack and they also have a few sandwiches if you're hungry for a light lunch.
We were here with a group with children and enthusiastic about this small, cozy, charming cafe at the harbour. the service was courteous, the coffee great. for larger groups (
Back from hunting icebergs to find fantastic coffee, wonderful pastries, and a warm welcome at the Water Shed. Highly, highly recommended. Right on the waterfront in a pretty little village, but also worth taking a detour to visit!
I live close by and hadn't realized what we were missing out on honestly, a perfect place. This is a seasonal place and I had figured they were catering to the tourists however very personable service- they take the time to smile, greet you and prepare your request with care. This is not your typical coffee shop ! They have a wonderful selection of both hot / cold beverages, small selection of baked goods and soup / sandwiches. The selection is not huge but that is the best part because by keeping it small they can deliver a delicious product. You may have to wait a few minutes as things are prepared fresh rather than sitting in a display case for days and that is good with me. The owner is on site regularly and has a small staff who appear to be highschool / university- everyone is polite and do a wonderful job of making you feel relaxed and comfortable while you enjoy your coffee and take in the view. I'm looking forward to it reopening in the spring and visiting weekly, keep up the good work.
