Avaliação da contribuiçãoMy new favorite Italian restaurant in town. Great outdoor food that is not on a walkway. Half-price wine on Sunday is a huge plus.
Had a lovely time with outdoor dining at Osteria. Even though the temp hung around 40 degrees the heaters were a perfect addition. My husband and I met our daughter to celebrate her birthday on a Sunday afternoon at 3:00. Lucky for us there was a Happy Hour menu of small plates. My daughter and I ordered several different ones from pasta to tuna and all were simply delicious as was the olive oil bread which was on the house. My husband ordered the pasta special which was also excellent. The meal ended with a huge slice of Panettone which included a lit sparkler to celebrate the occasion. We definitely will return.
Osteria is one of our favorites and we went Dec. 5 for our wedding anniversary. The food is just so wonderful and the service is a big reason we love going there. It's attentive without being annoying. Clearing the plates after each course, cleaning the table, fresh silverware makes the whole experience better. Paul, our server Saturday, was wonderful. His suggestions were great and we really enjoyed his company. The ricotta pasta with pork special was amazing and I can still taste the chicken liver rigatoni. The setup during this pandemic was very comforting clean, tables spaced apart, fresh air flowing and fans, all serving staff masked, temperature checks at the door. We felt really comfortable there. We hadn't been there in a while and said we definitely need to get back soon the wild boar bolognese is callin' my name.
The food was fabulous as it always is. The staff is very friendly and make the experience wonderful.
During this Pandemic we will not dine inside ANY restaurant. We have been Osteria regulars and have been back a few times. As the weather gets colder the staff has added heaters and adjusts their temperatures. The heaters were effective, so we look forward to returning.
