Tavern On The Hill - Philadelphia

What a fantastic little tavern! The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the bartender/server provided excellent service. I just wish I lived closer because I would definitely make this a regular hangout!

The hot wings here are outstanding, the entertainment is exceptional, and the bartenders definitely know how to craft amazing cocktails!

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Shawn at the bar, and we found the place quite empty, with only two other patrons leaving as we entered. The cool, dimly lit interior was a refreshing change from the bright summer sunshine outside. A friendly gentleman (whose name I regretfully forgot) escorted us to our table and pointed out the specials on the board, which included a noteworthy Southwestern Soup—absolutely delightful! We also ordered a cheesesteak with provolone (though I must chuckle—the person ordering that isn’t from Philly), Buffalo wings, and coconut shrimp. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I highly recommend paying a visit to this charming tavern.
