Starfish Restaurant Bar - Pinehurst

Ugh! They're closed the building is for sale and their phone turned off...it was a great run!

We took guests there for dinner last Friday. It was totally disappointing, from the service to the food. The place was very busy and there was only one young man serving as bartender AND waiter. We waited over an hour before our order was taken. After another wait, the server came back to say they were all out of two of the entrees that we ordered! When the food did arrive the portions were very limited; they offered no vegetables (only salad for an additional charge). While we were eating at least 2 other couples were turned away. We eat at restaurants frequently, but, sadly, we won't be coming to this one again.

Great cucumber peanut salad, the talipia and shrimp very well done

Ate there for the first time last night. Very nice, quiet atmosphere...so wouldn't take small.kids. my salmon with ginger was amazing. And the fried avocado as an appetizer was delicious. We will be returning.

Nice ambience.... marvelous value for the quality presentation of the food...Asian. Limited menu but tasty salmon, scallops, etc.
