Avaliação da contribuiçãoUpdate Sept 2022: unfortunately have to edit my 5 star review, this establishment has been sold and the food is unrecognizable. Very sad as the food was previously incredible, best Indian in Charlotte. Sigh. Guess we?ll be looking for a new spot : We love this place and order take out frequently! Always fresh and delicious. Best Indian food in Charlotte by far. Please consider supporting a local small business and a really kind owner/operator!
Very disappointed. Very small portions. My butter chicken tasted like the tyson precooked fajita strips. My rice was cold...not warm...COLD. When I got there, I watched them make my order from the buffet. Not cooked to order. The front door looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in months and the restaurant was completely empty. I will never patron this location again and do advise you proceed with caution if you are looking to.
Best Indian restaurant in Charlotte, hands down! Well worth the ride from South End - an absolute must try if you don't already. They probably went through a rough patch in the month or so, but have a new team with a revised menu and it is great.
This is my favorite visit to my favorite chicken butter. I only order here and my meal is consistently the same top quality. I also had delicious glazing and the lamb curry. I did too and the service was the same with polite people.
Was there for the first time and will be my last visit. Aloo Gobi's engraving tasted a few days old, puri's dough was very thick, uneven and was filled with oil that we returned to the kitchen. There was no salt dispenser, but was served in a not so clean dip sauce cup. Even dal makhni was not fresh. Very disappointed by the experience of Chatpatay. Update : I thought I called for food inspection, my daughter and my mother felt sick after they came home from here.
