The Original Mels - Pinole

I ordered a fried chicken steak through Doordash, but was disappointed to find out that it was a processed frozen steak. However, I did enjoy the dressing that came with it.

My companion and I chose to eat at Mel's after a day of shopping. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. It brought back memories of our youthful days enjoying late-night meals.

This restaurant is absolutely awful with some of the most terrible food imaginable. I paid $20 for the absolute worst chicken and waffles I have ever tasted. The fact that they charge so much for such disgusting dishes is outrageous. I feel like I have been ripped off. Do not waste your time coming here, do not support them. Hopefully they will shut down soon so that we can get a better diner, because I am fed up with the lack of well-made chicken and waffles in this dreadful city.

Fast and simple ordering of the girls who helped me made it really easy for me to order plus they were really nice?. Also the place was clean and lots of parking. My food was ready in less than 5 minutes

Service was so quick and friendly! Loved the staff energy. We barely had to wait for the food, which came out so yummy! Plus cute oldies diner atmosphere was the cherry on top. Loved the experience !
