Gelateria Manzi - PISA

The first impression was just my god, it 's so great, I want to come back! The gelato is delicious, you can eat lactose free gelato too. The price is really good, 2 euros for 2 flavours in one cup. First day, a guy was behind the counter and we got a huuuuge piece of gelato, he was really nice and helpful! Next day we went back and there was a lady, who was okay, and that 's it. We received half of the portion of the gelato of what the guy gave us, but we thought okay, it 's still enough, but it was still a disappointment, because we saw that lady gave for a little girl still half of a portion. So we thought okay, that lady isn 't like that just with us, so she is not the best with everybody, not just with us. We still went back the next day, because the gelato is simply amazing, but your experience will depend on who is behind the counter.

Great service, great ice-cream! The ice-cream vendor even advised us where to eat at dinner, which is very nice of her! Try the Panna and the Yogurt!

Very good ice cream, tasty and natural. Big portions. We were served by a very nice lady who eagerly talked and joked with the guests. Good place.

Our favourite gelato on our visit to Florence and Pisa! Some unusual flavours and you can sit down on seats just outside the shop to eat them! Try the ricotta and blackberry and the fig and walnut! You will not be disappointed!

I 've had many a gelato in my day and I must say this is the ABSOLUTE BEST I have ever had. I got the dark chocolate-orange and could not believe what I was eating. There are small candied pieces of real orange distributed evenly throughout. It was paradise in a cup. I was speechless. The only thing I could say is, can I get another scoop? My husband got a couple of other flavors too which were also outrageously amazing! They are super nice and very gracious. You MUST go here if you go to Pisa. Absolutely amazing! We have a lot of things in Los Angeles but this is definitely not one of them. Bravo, Manzi! We will return!!!!!!!!
