Mei's Chinese - PISMO BEACH

As always, the food was fantastic. The problem was that on Christmas Eve we were told it would be ready in an hour and when I got there I was told to be 20 more minutes. After 35 minutes I went back up and was told it was going to be 20 more minutes. I finally had to ask for my money back when he ran in the back and threw it all together. Unfortunately, didn't get the order correct. Worst part was that people who sat down at the restaurant after I showed up we're getting their food before people who'd ordered their online food hours earlier. I know they were very, very stressed out with the overwhelming amount of business, but at some point you need to make the call as a business owner to tell people that they're not going to serve anymore. You just can't get that far behind and expect everybody to be that patient when they're ready to eat.

Best Chinese food in SLO area! I always get the chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken and I can never get enough!!!

It was wonderful, great taste and very helpful. Next time in Pismo will eat there again.

The food was so good and Ling, our server, was so kind and funny. We ordered a lot of food and the Orange Chicken was my absolute favorite. We also had Fried Won Ton, Pork Fried Rice, Egg Rolls, Almond Chicken, Beef Broccoli, Chow Mein, and Kung Pao Chicken. I highly recommend Mei’s Chinese Restaurant, you can thank me later! Oh and tell Ling Regina says hello! ‍

The food is terrific. Best Chinese food in the Five Cities. Always a treat.
