Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe staff was not very helpful. The sommelier (separate area) was brand new and explains the flavors as soon as we asked while constantly reviewing notes. She was sweet, just not knowledgeable or attentive. The same with the waiting staff. We stood at the fire after tasting (a bit early for reservation) and no one came to check us out. I checked the hostess and she barely recognized me. 10 minutes later, the elder Sommelier came out and took care of us. He said it didn't have to wait, and we set up the table. At that time there were only a few tables, but it filled quickly. You were really short. Pizza was really good!
As always the wine was very good at Los Pinos. Me my wife had one of the specials which was grilled Mahi-mahi and it was good. I probably would have tried the grilled steak special but at $42/person it was way overpriced compared to good steakhouses in the general dining area. Would like to see more comfort food items added to the main menu!
Great food (tapas for two, fig pig pizza, salted caramel gelato) and wine (sangria fresca, bottle of ‘17 Collage) on the patio with live jazz by Purple Velvet Fox.
This is a very nice place for dinner. It’s a bit pricey, but that’s standard for this type of dining.
What a great place for East Texas. Food is good and the wine even better. Hard to find but when you get there it is really a nice place. Vineyards can be seen from the covered patio plus live music. I would highly recommend it to all. Enjoy
