Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe restaurant is amazing! The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. We ordered the naan pizza for my son, the chicken tikka masala, veggie samosas, garlic naan, and mango lassi—oh, heaven! My partner ordered something I can’t quite remember the name of, but it was also delicious! We went for an early dinner, so it wasn’t busy, and our food arrived quickly. I absolutely recommend this place 100%. We will definitely be coming back soon!
The samosas were incredibly delicious, and the garlic naan was fantastic. The tikka masala (medium spice) had a wonderful heat to it. My son absolutely loved the lamb dish; it was a perfect birthday dinner for him before he headed back to Dallas! We look forward to our next visit. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality and delicious food!
The samosas were a generous size and moderately crispy, without being overly greasy. I found them a bit too spicy for my taste, but they had a nice balance of flavors with the potatoes and other fillings. The sauce that came with the samosas was a delightful mix of sweet and savory, with just the right amount of heat and a lovely floral note. The chicken kofta with chana was decent but felt a bit small for $15. There were about four meatballs, which were flavorful and juicy even after sitting for a while. It was served with a portion of rice. I appreciated that even the mild option still had good flavor, though I would have liked a bit more chana. The ginger was an interesting addition to the dish, and I think it complements the overall flavors nicely. Overall, I recommend this restaurant if you enjoy Indian cuisine and are in the Dormont/South Hills area. They offer many unique dishes, such as haleem and paya, which you won't find at other Indian restaurants. Edit: After seeing the owners' response, I feel it's only fair to update my review. The higher prices are primarily due to the delivery fees rather than the restaurant's pricing itself.
My friend and I found kababab and curry online and we were very happy we had dinner here! the service was amazing and the food was hot and delicious! we have both chicken tikka masala and we shared the samosa chaat appetizer. I also have the lens soup and garlic naan. this is our new way to the Indian restaurant in pittsburgh!
