Portofino's Pizzaria - Pittsburgh

We have been ordering from Portofinos pizza for years. Tonight 9/1/24 we ordered a pizza and it was the worst I have ever had. It was barely cut and when we cut it all the stuff came off. The cheese was like chewing gum. They must have had holiday help.

Great pizza! I haven't tried anything else on the menu yet but will for sure. I highly recommend trying the pie here!

Ordered a Sicilian pizza last night and what was delivered was the furthest thing from a Sicilian pizza. The only thing that would allow it to pass as Sicilian, was that it was square. It was as flat as their regular pizza, but with wider crust. Extremely greasy and the cheese slide right off. Sicilian pizza uses a different dough, which is why it is usually about 1” thick throughout. I was Very disappointed. I also saw they sell Chicago deep dish pizza. Hope they don’t uses the saw dough for it.

Ordered pizza and hoagies for dinner. 1st time pizza was received burnt. Very disappointing as this is our go to pizza place.

Service was good but got 4 different items and no one was satisfied with their order, pizza looks like an oven pizza and cheese falls right off along with the insane amount of grease. Used to be my favorite place to order pizza from and may give it a try again in the future but seems like the food has changed quality of ingredients.
