Dairy Queen (treat) - Plainfield

Family-friendly, full DQ ice menu. very community-oriented.

I was never an ice cream person but once you have kids your life changes. LOL!! I visited this DQ for the first time since moving to the area. I went online to see what food options there were. I was so excited to try the cheese curds. We get there to find out they do not carry a lot of food items and are mainly an ice creamery. We then get ice cream cones. One with sprinkles, one without. It took close to 10 minutes before we received our order. There were 3 teens working 1 girl on the register and 1 girl completing orders. The boy was making blizzards but he wasn't handing them out to the ppl waiting. He kept putting them in the back. Overall the space is clean and spacious. I can imagine how crowded it can get on warmer days.

Big, clean, nice staff. Not sure what else I can say about it, except that my daughter loved it.

Nice and clean store, friendly helpful family that has owned it for over 50 years..the elderly father still comes in to chat with the customers..he's 92..always a good time
