Sal's Famous Pizzeria - Plainfield

Whenever I visit Sals, the food is always incredible. I recently grabbed a pizza to-go and it exceeded my already high expectations. The ingredients are top-notch. I truly adore this restaurant.

This place is hit or miss, I really think it depends on who’s cooking the pizza. We got the stuffed pizza and the first time it was amazing , the second time we got the same pizza it was mediocre. We had family outta town and had raved about the pizza. We ordered online though Menufy hungerrush , and was told 43-48 mins, we picked up at 35 on the fluke it might be done early, our $49 dollar (2 pizzas) were cold and had been sitting for quite some time. It was highly disappointing, I won’t mention the other thing because maybe it was a fluke but it soon became a hairy situation. Because I had contacted them online (through Menufy on sat (the next day) and the company didn’t contact sala until Tuesday, the manager would only give us 1 2 back. Because I didn’t have pictures or evidence. I had family in town and was hosting so i didn’t want to raise a stink on the phone so I contacted them online, bad move on my part.
