New Hama Fusion - Plainview

I am a regular at Hama. This is one of the best places to go for sushi on long island. The food is amazing as is the service. Jason is a great waiter and person. The owner and staff are also very nice and accomodating!

The fish was fresh there is no weird smell or flavor. You can see all the food getting prepared. The staff was really nice. They also have many decorations up for the holidays or for the season. Such as flowers,

I don 't get it. I 've eaten here a few times over the years, and it 's consistently bad. I keep thinking maybe it 'll be good this time, they 've been around so long. Fish is gamey, rice has no flavor. One step below supermarket sushi. I 've learned my lesson. There are so many better places in the area, I would skip this one.

This place has great combo platters available for dinner and many creative special rolls. The presentation of the food was beautiful as well.
