Avaliação da contribuiçãoEverything was delicious and Dylan was great! The atmosphere was very beautiful and pleasant. We sat outside because the weather was nice. I will be returning! The complimentary bread is to die for they sell it by the loaf and it is so worth it !!
There was a mix up with the server so we waited about 15 minutes to be greeted and to order. The food was not good at all unfortunately. The waffle tasted like a wafer ice cream cone with a weird film over it. The cheese grits came out cold the firsttime and over seasoned the second. The drinking glasses were dirty. I will say that the eggs were decent and the bread appetizerwas moist. The food also came out quickly after ordering. Outside of that, we won?t be returning.
I ordered the Croque Madame, which was hearty and flavorful, with the bread baked to perfection. The BW Benedict was simple yet delightful, featuring hollandaise sauce that was just the right thickness and packed with flavor. The Monterrey enchiladas were also fantastic, with generous portions that left me satisfied. For dessert, I tried the fresh strawberry cream waffle, which was simply delicious. It was light and fluffy on the inside, with just the right amount of crispiness on the outside. The strawberries and whipped cream were incredibly fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return whenever I'm in the Plano/Dallas area. My only complaint is the service, which was a bit disappointing. There were long wait times for drinks, our waiter didn’t check in on us frequently, and one of our drinks was made with a substitute ingredient without us being informed. Overall, I would rate my experience a 4.5 out of 5.
The atmosphere was lively; we had to wait about 20 minutes as a party of two around noon on Saturday. Most diners were semi-dressed up, while others were very casual. It was a family-friendly environment with many kids around.
I honestly think this place is highly overrated. The food was just average, and I expected it to be much better based on the reviews. For the price we paid, I feel like it should have been better. Additionally, they charge a fee for using debit or credit cards, which feels quite unprofessional. On the positive side, they do offer complimentary pieces of different breads and pastries as an appetizer, and the frozen pineapple upside-down mimosa was quite enjoyable! However, the positives don't outweigh the negatives for me. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place.
