Hand-baked pork fillet the size of a plate! Food made like grandma and every bit so delicious. Just a perfect place to eat.

This is a must stop and eat place!!! Chicken fried steak is the best you ever have!

Just exactly as the name implies, this comfortable and unpretentious diner/cafe, located in the heart of beautiful downtown Plattsmouth, features lip smacking classic home cooked American food, friendly if imperfect service, and a chance to remember the foods you grew up with. Fridays feature fish specials, and I opted for the walleye pike and fried clams, homemade coleslaw and slightly lumpy mashed potatoes and cream gravy. It was all very tasty. The regular lunch menu is heavy on burgers and sandwiches. Prices are mostly in the $8-14 range. I enjoyed my meal, and hope to return soon. They don't make places like this any more.
