Restaurant Chilito Rojo

We arrived late in playa del carmen in the night before the airport and wanted to stay close before we drove to mahahual the next morning. we were in a small hotel right on the street, but only about 1/2... block south and found this jewel the next morning to the breakfast. I had the green juice and my man had the fresh orange juice. both were excellent and I had the veggie omlete. clean, clean, fast and very friendly waiters. I would highly recommend this place.

Stunned on this busy authentic place while looking for the chabad house. large selection of fresh juiced breakfast and lunch dishes perfect for us not carnivores. highly recommended.

We were looking for an breakfast place and just happened to chilito rojo. we have always had luck! the food is excellent and very fresh, the staff is wonderful, the service is fast, and it is very cheap. in our 5 days in playa carmen, despite the many, many restaurant choices, we went to chilito rojo to breakfast twice! I have the huevos a la mexicana and my daughter has the huevos rancheros. I recommend this restaurant!

Visited Chilito on the recommendation of friends and I was not disappointed. It felt as authentic as any place I've eaten in Mexico (central, west coast, east coast and many parts in between) I would definitely make this a part of my repertoire if I...lived here, as do the friends who recommended it. I didn't have a fresh fruit drink but based on the number of other tables who ordered them I would try one the next time.
