Avaliação da contribuiçãoMy wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time, mainly because of the dog-friendly terrace. We were warmly greeted and seated on the terrace. Our server, Jonah, was excellent, providing great service and attention to detail. We spent a few hours there and enjoyed a fair amount of drinks. Jonah responsibly checked if we had a sober driver, considering the drinks were adding up. As someone familiar with dram shop laws, I appreciated his professionalism. Shortly after, the manager, Christopher, informed us that the bartender had been replaced due to our level of alcohol consumption. We had no issue with this decision. I want to commend the staff at Rock Elm for their excellent service. It is important to recognize the importance of training staff in security protocols that ultimately protect both customers and employees. Kudos to Rock Elm and their team for a job well done. Seriously.
I wasn't expecting to be so impressed by this small restaurant, but to my surprise, I was thoroughly impressed during our visit. We arrived at 5:30 and were seated shortly after (we had made a reservation). Our server, Kaia, arrived at our table a minute later and took our order quickly as we were in a hurry to make it to the theater in an hour. The food arrived promptly - the portions were generous, the salad was large, the wings were big, and the kids' meal was perfect. My wife enjoyed her flatbread with pancetta and pears, while my daughter and I were not fond of the tarragon vinaigrette on the Nisswa salad (we hadn't noticed it on the menu). I informed Kaia about it, and she offered to replace our salads with burgers and fries to accommodate our time constraints. The manager was understanding and took our salads off the bill. The burgers were delicious - crispy fries and perfect portions. My burger with blue cheese-infused bacon and steak sauce was fantastic, as was my daughter's white cheddar bacon burger. The service was efficient, the desserts looked tempting, and we look forward to returning. Overall, a great experience - can't wait to go back.
I ordered the French dip sandwich, which was tasty but a bit lacking in meat. My son tried the burger with jalapeños and a ghost cupcake, and he really enjoyed it. I definitely recommend trying the Perpetrator Deaths dessert - it was a delightful surprise. It was busy on a Wednesday, so it seems to be a popular spot.
Good food and location. I like the atmosphere and the outdoor dining (when weather is cooperating). The blackened chicken sandwich is a favorite. Staff is very supportive. The last time I went, my waiter misheard my order and brought me a burger (I wanted salmon) and they were very accommodating to make it right. Good sweet potato fries, as well.
We came for their Easter brunch which was $35 a person it was a complete rip off!!! the food was OK at best!! we’ve had better at Perkins for a fraction of the cost!!! they also sneak in a 3% wellness fee that you don’t see until you actually get the bill. We hardly got any food!! What they presented to us was complete joke with the price that we paid. We feel completely ripped off, and we’re still hungry!! It’s a shame, it’s a really nice restaurant.
