Rise Grind - Plymouth

Lovely afternoon tea for a baby shower. Friendly service, fantastic food and the ladies couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely be returning!

This restaurant is perfect for dining with family, friends, as a couple, or even by yourself for coffee and a delicious cake. The staff is fantastic, the food is incredible with a menu that changes frequently. The coffee is outstanding and the atmosphere is enjoyable both in the summer and when it's cold outside. I highly recommend this place for brunch, lunch, or just a coffee. In short, the ambiance here is top-notch.

Having discovered this place, I now find it very difficult to walk past. The staff always make me feel very welcome. On arrival I'm immediately provided with water and biscuits and they open a tab for me. They are human friendly too. The food is far superior to the much larger venues located nearby. Specific favourites are The cream Teas, the Harissa Baked Egg and the Salmon and Cream Cheese on gluten free toast..... Not to mention the gluten free carrot cake. Great coffee, good Wines and house cocktails make this a must place to eat and/or drink and one which I strongly recommend. The venue has recently fitted sliding glass doors which should now hopefully enable my human walking companions to be able to enjoy this place during the winter too. I love it here! Coffee is always great and they do the best brunches. My fav spot on the Barbican right next to the water!

Had the best time today having my morning coffee, so beautiful to be able to sit in the sunshine feeling relaxed watching the day go by, received fantastic service and was one of the best flat whites I’ve ever had in my life!!! A stunning and clean venue and they had a wonderful menu! I had the French toast and it was honestly amazing Will deffo be back and highly recommend!
