The Babas - Plymouth

I ordered a delivery from The Babas last night and I am fussy, but the food delivered was hot and exactly as I asked for it. It was excellent and the delivery bloke was polite too. Well done we all really enjoyed our food

Just received our kebabs after a one hour and 45 minute wait. 2 phone calls and being told it was busy on a weekend this is Friday 17:11 ain't much good when you pay and receive cold food. If I had been told that I'd have to wait 1 hour 36 minutes, I wouldn't have bothered. It certainly wasn't worth the wait! Take it from me, Feed Well Malaysian/ Chinese, Eggbuckland or Francines on North Prospect Road is the place to order from. The latter for kebabs.

After ordering food yesterday 16.1.2021 it was delivered 2 hours after order was placed...absolutely stone cold...after ringing the shop 98 times finally got an answer...was told the manager would phone me back...today....have since phoned to speak to the manager...Still no joy....Well here is my message to the manager....please don't think that I am going to stop ringing...until you contact me I am going to continually ring until you have the common decency to call me and sort this out...paying £30 plus for food that we couldn't eat is no joke. As I said I'm not going away so I suggest you call.

I placed an order online and quickly picked up my food without having to wait long. I ordered the chicken and rib combo with spicy potatoes, but unfortunately, it was disappointing. The chicken was dry and the rib was fatty and gristly with very little meat. Despite the warm evening, I couldn't ignore the sight of a sweaty employee preparing another customer's food. I saw sweat drops falling from his brow into the food he was handling. If it were my food, I would have requested for it to be remade by someone else. I will not be returning to this restaurant again.

The food arrived nearly 2 hours early and when I called to address the issue, the customer service was terrible! The man on the phone was extremely rude. By the time I got home from work, the food was cold and I had to reheat my takeaway, which was unacceptable since I had requested it to arrive at a specific time. The service was poor and the people on the phone were rude. I will never order from this restaurant again.
